Opportunities To See Akeela Before The Camp Season Begins
For those families who live in the Northeast and would like to visit camp before their camper’s first summer with us, we will be offering tours of Akeela on June 6th and June 7th.
What To Expect On Tour Day
- For 10am tours, please arrive between 9:45 and 10:00.
- For 2pm tours, please arrive between 1:45 and 2:00.
- We’ll have light snacks (and bathrooms) available when you arrive.
- At the schedule tour time (10am or 2pm), we will begin with a brief welcome and introductions near the camp office.
- At approximately 15 minutes past the hour, we’ll lead a walking tour of the campus. Expect to see program areas, a camper cabin, the dining hall, and more!
- Tours take approximately 1 hour. Afterwards, Akeela’s directors will be available to chat with families and answer individual questions.
- Expect to depart camp at approximately 11:30am (for the 10am tour) or 3:30pm (for the 2pm tour)
NOTE: We are unable to accommodate dogs & other pets on tour days.
